[The Witch of Misfortune can be easily found wandering around, mostly in the Master Bedroom. Though seems she'll easily stop whatever she's doing and chat with you, at least...]
[ Sakura doesn't....intentionally go seek her out, but after Everything That Was, it kind of just happens. Maybe it was supposed to happen? But hey, there she is, wandering around.
She kind of scrambles to find something to say, because what do you say to someone when you just found out their tragic backstory, man. ]
[Shadow-Andras, trailed by the wolf Terios, makes his way to the master suite after most of the others have gone to sleep. In his hand he has a history book -- an American History book, to be precise. He sits on the bed and opens up to a dark time in that country's history. He speaks aloud, knowing Nirrti is listening]
Salem was just the most famous example, right? Small towns all over the United Federation.... ah, the United States in other worlds... Though not even limited to that place. Or that time.
[Terios, meanwhile, makes a menace of himself. Being a demon wolf, he grabs one of the seven stakes and starts chewing on it. OMNOMNOMNOM]
I bet you aren't happy about those breadcrumbs your other self has been leaving us. Didn't want them knowing that even the biggest tree comes from a little seed, right?
... But I get it, Nirrti. I do. I... was someone's "furniture" long before this game was ever conceived. I saw the same thing that happened to that girl, I saw it happen to him. He never became a witch, but he did become the monster that they saw him as.
[Gebura closes the door to the Master Bedroom and locks it.]
I have some questions I'd like to ask you. Some of it's probably just verifying things I've heard from other people or getting more details, though. I don't think this is going to take too long.
[As she does that, Nirrti looks up - and smiles, though it seems a bit strained. It's definitely not as sharp as it was before, and she doesn't even have a dangerous look in her eyes.
...In fact, she just looks tired.]
....Still more questions from the pieces, I see. ...Fine. Ask what you want.
Yeah, I thought some others would ask, but I haven't heard from them myself, but it's simple enough to say that something big came up for us. Most of my questions are going to be about the nature of witches, anyways.
First, you're "The Witch of Misfortune", so I'm curious: If there were a Witch of Fortune, what would be the differences between the two of you?
[THAT FOURTH TRIAL SURE WAS A THING, WASN'T IT. She was already going to check on her afterward because of how intense that whole argument got, but after the execution...
She hurries after her, following Nirrti back to her room.]
[He expects people to keep an eye on him all night, but he does manage to slip away for a bit. He also expects the Master Bedroom door to be locked. If it is he will just wander aimlessly back to the others.
But if not he'll just... crawl into the bed and cocoon there until Erhard gathers him for bed. He doesn't call for Nirrti particularly and is fine just laying her alone for a while.
[The door is unlocked, when she goes in - and Nirrti herself is in her bed, the blankets wrapped around her much like how anyone would do when they aren't feeling well.
She says nothing as Ann comes in, however - though her eyes make it clear she sees her.]
[It's not terribly long after the trial is over that Anon goes to find Nirrti.
They both really kind of lost it in this trial, after all, albeit for maybe different reasons, so he's feeling the draw to like company. Perhaps. More like than usual, even. There's also that thing at the end -- he'd been almost as surprised as some of the rest of them, and it's something he kind of thinks he should follow up on.
The master bedroom seems the easiest place to look.]
