You got to me on Saturday, it's true. I had a lot to wrestle through, and a lot I needed to acknowledge to myself.

But I'd always intended to come talk to you after then, if only to let you know, you wouldn't be getting anymore of my misery.

I highly doubt that, Ann. Though you've picked yourself up now, it's only a matter of time until you fall once more.

And I will be there when it happens.

Because at the very least, I learned an important lesson on Saturday. Even if it was only with the best of intentions, I wasn't seeing the people around me as individuals.

My expectations clouded my judgment.
