[The Witch of Misfortune can be easily found wandering around, mostly in the Master Bedroom. Though seems she'll easily stop whatever she's doing and chat with you, at least...]
[So maybe they just missed each other?? Or maybe he just spends way too much time bouncing from place to place. He does stop prodding for just a moment to regard the books critically.]
It's a place you borrowed from some people Erika knew, right? That detective girl who seemed pretty annoyed with you!
Hmm, are the books grouchy because they're really old?
[He laughs a little with her, perfectly content to go along with it.]
I'm sure it's a strength somewhere!
Anyway, you wanted to make a kind of... classy copy? Well, I'm not an expert on this place or anything, but I'm definitely an expert on good copying technique-- [so to speak!] --so I can say this is pretty good quality. Everything seems like it fits together...
So if you like this place enough to make an homage to it, what's your favorite part?
Ah...Well, I was quite taken with the Witch that featured in this tale in the beginning. Strong, confident, allowing no one to brook argument with her....She seemed positively wonderful.
...Of course, the later chapters were less so, and I found myself being disappointed. Not to say that development is a bad thing! Just....that I admired her original self, before she was sweetened to be more palatable.
You could say that, yes. Unfortunately, I don't believe that Witch would be willing to see me. She and her Husband have cloistered themselves off from the rest of us, and, well...I'm not so horrible to go barging in when I'm uninvited.

[She smiles at him, watching him poke around at the old books.]
It's not my base, but it is a place I enjoy being. Be careful - those books are quite old.

[Yuuko mostly seems amused, anyway.]
It is borrowed, yes. But I changed it so that only the barest of details about the previous place and owners remained - it's perfectly legal.
[Uhm]
Besides, it's an homage.

[It's hard to tell if he's dragging her or complimenting her or straight up paying a backhanded compliment. Probably Option 3, really.]
Oh. Do Witches care about what's legal? Like, do you get Witch-arrested if it isn't a real homage?

Unique is certainly one way to put it!
[Still giggling, she continues.]
Oh, no. Forgeries abound, you know - but I didn't want to make one.

[Like Super Extra Honeymoon Suite, is the impression he's getting here.]
So you decided to sort of visit in a different way. Do you think that Witch is okay with this? Or is she just going to ignore us...
Though, I think it would be more fun to think she's watching.
